Northern Ireland police were set to free Gerry Adams on Sunday after questioning him for four days over a notorious IRA murder, but will send prosecutors a file on the republican leader, reports said.
The BBC and Irish broadcaster reported that the Sinn Fein president would be released, while Sky News cited sources as saying his release was "very likely".
