More than 600,000 join rallies in French towns outside Paris

More than 600,000 people rallied against terrorism in towns around the country outside of Paris on Sunday, according to an AFP tally.

A day after some 700,000 people marched around the country, a sea of people flooded the large cities of Lyon, Bordeaux and Marseille as well as a host of smaller towns to show their defiance after a three-day jihadist killing spree left 17 people dead.
