Medium Cindi Sansone-Braff talks about career, gift and new book (Includes interview)

Sansone-Braff had been voted “Best Psychic on Long Island” by the Long Island Press for many consecutive years. “That felt pretty good, and it was really interesting. It was validation, because we don’t have licensing in this field, so it validates that there are enough people out there that feel that I deserve that,” she said.

Her plans for the future are to continue to do readings and she is writing another book. “I already wrote two books, and this new one is about compassions of a reluctant psychic. It is about 20 years of doing readings. It is a fun book to write, and it was a little bit difficult in some levels since I want to get everything right,” she said.

Sansone-Braff continued, “Between now and January, I will be doing a few workshops and my readings. I like to do my workshops since I am a relationship coach and dating expert as well. I like to keep my foot in all doors.”

When asked when she first discovered her gift, she said, “I think I am a little bit unusual than most psychics. I imagine it was there when I was younger. I learned to shut it off and not deal with it all day, and when I was older, I felt I was communicating with the dead. For about five days, I thought I had lost my mind. I wasn’t sharing it with anybody.”

She continued, “I was always a reluctant psychic. It wasn’t anything I chose or wanted to do. It was something that was there, and I explored it, and over the years, I got more and more into it.”

Each day, she is motivated by her daily readings. “I try to find out what is troubling my clients, and what is on their minds, and I zoom in on that, and I try to get help for them. My clients motivate me more than anything,” she said.

She is actively involved with charity work, which include scholarship-oriented fundraisers for schools and teenagers.

Sansone-Braff defined success as “Thinking that I’ve reached my life mission, and that I’m answering why I’ve been here. Getting the word out there, and getting people to love better, so the world can be a more peaceful place.”
