Man selling his computer, which he claims is haunted

It’s the attack of the haunted MacBook! It may sound like the premise for a cheesy low budget horror film but an Ebay user from Texas claims that his laptop computer really is haunted. Seller wfatzfinger recently posted his white 2007 Apple MacBook on Ebay and he says it works just fine except for one little quirk … it’s haunted by a ghostly entity.

The seller says he isn’t entirely sure when or how the computer became haunted but he has a strong feeling that it might have occurred the night he accidentally left it in a cemetery overnight. He is a sketch artist and was apparently working on some sketches in a graveyard next to an abandoned mental hospital. He brought his computer along with him, he says, so he could play some music while he worked on his sketches. Unfortunately, when he woke up the following morning he realized that he had left the computer in the cemetery all night.

He was able to retrieve his laptop, which he says appeared to be completely unharmed. When he got it home, however, he noticed a few bizarre things. Not only had the desktop background been changed to a “scary photo” but all of the songs in his iTunes library were “scary or haunted.” But the story doesn’t stop there. The seller also claims that some paranormal activity began taking place around the house soon after the laptop was brought back home. When he and his wife returned from dinner with her parents one evening, he says his baseball cards and his wife’s coin collection had been completely unorganized. He also claims that he has witnessed the computer levitating on multiple occasions and that it will often grasp a pen and create handwritten notes.

The MacBook already has 57 bids and is up to $348 so if you’re interested in getting your hands on this haunted computer you better hurry. It comes with a “Certificate of Haunting,” the haunted iTunes music, the “ghostly photos” on the desktop, a collection of the handwritten notes, several Edgar Allan Poe stories and a few of the seller’s sketches of graves. And if you’re worried about your safety, never fear. The seller says the computer is NOT haunted by a “demon, devil man [or] negative entity.”
