Man lists ‘drug dealer’ as his occupation on arrest report

The man, Robert Phillips, 25, was arrested after cutting in front of a detective, who was driving an unmarked car. A records check was run on the vehicle, which revealed that the car was stolen.

Phillips was followed by the detective he cut off, who witnessed him engage in a drug transaction. Eventually deputies in marked cars were able to catch up to him, but he ended up fleeing at a high rate of speed.

According to Daily Mail, Phillips eventually ran into a store after pulling into a parking lot. At some point, Phillips dropped a loaded handgun.

Phillips attempted to escape by leaving through an exit located in the back of the store, but deputies were able to arrest him when he ran out the back. A search was then carried out, and deputies found more than $2,000 in cash, as well as 22G of heroin. 5.3G of crack cocaine was also discovered in the stolen car.

When the time came to list his occupation on the arrest report, he put down drug dealer. He is now facing numerous charges, including three counts of resisting arrest with violence, as well as two counts of possession of drug equipment. He is also facing a count of heroin trafficking.
