Man calls police to tell them his wife stole his cocaine

The man, Robert Collins, 39, made the call on Wednesday night to report the theft.

According to NY Post, when officers arrived to see Collins, they discovered he had a marijuana pipe, and he had a warrant out for his arrest. The warrant was for failing to pay hundreds of dollars in costs in a previous court case.

When Collins made the phone call to 911, he told dispatchers that his wife took the cocaine, which he bought earlier on in the day. However, when cops arrived at his home, he said there wasn’t an emergency, and he didn’t tell them why he made the phone call.

On top of being charged with drug paraphernalia, Collins was also charged with misusing 911. The police report didn’t say where his spouse was, nor did it mentioned the whereabouts of the cocaine.

This is not the first time someone has called 911 and reported something out of the ordinary. Last year, a man in Montana called 911 and told the dispatcher that the stripper he had hired refused him sex. The man ended up getting arrested.
