The leaders will debate on April 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. ET, and DigitalJournal.com will be providing real-time coverage of what’s being said and what people are discussing during this important event. Included in the debate will be Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff, NDP leader Jack Layton and Bloc Quebecois leader Gilles Duceppe.
The debate lasts two hours and is broken apart into six segments. Each segment begins with a question submitted by a Canadian, followed by a one-on-one debate between two leaders. Each segment concludes with an open debate between all four leaders.
