Israel bombs Syria army targets after Golan: army

The Israeli air force launched strikes against Syrian army positions overnight, just hours after a bomb on the occupied Golan Heights injured four of its soldiers, the military said Wednesday.

"The IDF targeted several Syrian army positions which aided and abetted the attack against IDF personnel yesterday," a statement said, indicating the strikes hit a Syrian army training facility, military headquarters, and artillery batteries.
