As of now, the images have not been verified, but in the past the group did release plans for designs for currency. Those designs match the designs shown in the images that recently surfaced. Raqqa, a Syrian activist group, posted the images to Twitter, and the photos show coins that display a map of the world, as well as stalks of wheat.
The photos were posted two days ago, and the post that accompanied it said that they were new coins that ISIS will will soon deal with.
The coins are in the form of gold and silver. However, if the coins are indeed real, then accurate estimates of the value of the currency will be impossible because the weight is unclear. On top of that, there is no international exchange rate for currency that is not recognized.
However, some believe that the coins range in value from anywhere from 700USD to five cents. The coins may be based on the original dinar coins of the Caliphate of Uthman.
ISIS has managed to build wealth because they control oil fields, and they control large areas of Iraq and Syria.
