Dispute over potato chips leads to man being stabbed in neck

When officers and medics arrived at the scene, they found a 30-year-old man, who was stabbed in his neck. The victim was Robert Alexander, and he suffered from non life-threatening injuries. Alexander was taken to the hospital and received treatment.

Apparently, Clarence Dorn Jr. stabbed Alexander because he accused him of stealing potato chips from a child’s plate.
After Dorn was found by police at a nearby park, and they arrested him. The incident happened around 9 p.m. on Saturday night. Officers were called to the 9300 block of North Fisk Avenue.

Dorn was an acquaintance of Alexander. Officers said that this incident wasn’t just some random act. When cops arrested Dorn, he was taken to Multnomah County Jail, and he is now facing a charge of second-degree assault.
