Digital Journal to Unveil New Gadgets Live on Homepage Tonight

In a live appearance on the popular technology show, HomePage, DigitalJournal.com will unveil new gadgets and talk about how they’re shaking up the industry. Watch live online!

Tonight on CP24’s popular technology show, HomePage hosted by David Onley, DigitalJournal.com Editor-in-Chief, Chris Hogg, will showcase some of today’s (and tomorrow’s) hottest gadgets. Beginning at 5 PM (EST) on CP24 in Toronto and live online at citynews.ca, HomePage covers all of the breaking technology and Web news from Canada and around the world.

On this week’s show, Digital Journal Editor-in-Chief, Chris Hogg, will showcase a collection of gadgets that are defining, and redefining, the industry.

Tonight, Hogg will talk about the new LaCie USB/Firewire hub designed by renowned product designer, Ora-ito; a funky gadget called the USB Beverage Chiller from Cool It Systems that plugs into your computer to keep your beer and soft drinks chilled while you compute; the portable-yet-powerful Mio H610 handheld GPS that also plays music, videos and showcases photography; a Sony microcomputer called the UX380CN that features a full QWERTY keyboard but is small enough to fit in your pocket (or purse); and in a special sneak peek exclusive on the show, Digital Journal will showcase the Sony HDR-CX7 — the world’s smallest and lightest camcorder that shoots in high definition. The CX7 is not out yet, but this sneak peek will give you a chance to see the camcorder that records on Flash Memory before it hits stores in July.

Find out why these gadgets made the cut, what makes them special and how they will change the tech industry tonight on HomePage. In Toronto, tune in to CP24 from 5-6 PM (EST) or watch online by following these directions:

Visit CityNews.ca, scroll down to the bottom left-hand side of the page and click on “Video.” Note: You must be using Internet Explorer, so if you’re a Firefox user, dust off the ol’ browser and log on. A pop-up window will show you various TV segments. On the bottom left-hand side of this window there is a link to “CP24 Live Feeds” that will bring up a live view from the newsroom.

HomePage runs every Wednesday @ 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (EST), 11:35 PM – 12:30 AM (R), 1:05 AM – 2:00 AM (R)
