Onlookers captured the footage of the unidentified muscular man squatting and lifting a small Fiat Uno car which was blocking the bike lane he was using.
After lifting the vehicle which weighed approximately 1600 pounds, the man casually remounted his bike and rode away, while being cheered on by bystanders.
The video entitled, “O homem mais forte do mundo” (The strongest man in the world) was uploaded to YouTube on Monday by Brazilian blogger, Joe Loreto, and quickly gained well over 1.5 million views as early as Tuesday.
“Bike lane enforcer, we all salute you. And whatever you did to be able to lift a car. Bitten by a radioactive jack?” said one YouTube viewer.
Another said, “If does that to the car imagine what he does to that bike.”
“GET OFF MY SIDEWALK. *ring ring, ring ring,” another wrote.
Others were a less impressed, “That’s impressive, But try lifting a Cadillac Escalade ESV. I will be more impressed. It weighs 6,000+ pounds. that hatchback probably weighs 1200 lbs.”
“Stop the [f]akeness,” said another viewer.
“Bike lanes should be outlawed. Get of[f] the road you slow, spandex clad [expletive],” wrote an irritated viewer.
Whether or not it’s a marketing stunt, it sure makes for great viewing.
