Costa starts for Atletico at Camp Nou

-

Atletico Madrid's top scorer Diego Costa has overcome a slight knee injury that prevented him from training on Monday to take his place among Diego Simeone's side for their Champions League quarter-final, first leg against Barcelona on Tuesday.

Costa is in great form having scored six goals in his last five games and will be joined by former Barca striker David Villa in attack as Raul Garcia is suspended.

There were no surprises in Barca boss Gerardo Martino's line-up as he made just one change from the same side that started the Catalans 4-3 win away to Real Madrid 10 days ago with Jose Manuel Pinto taking the place of the injured Victor Valdes in goal.

That means Lionel Messi and Neymar start together again with the Spanish international quartet of Sergio Busquets, Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas supporting from midfield.

Starting line-ups:

Barcelona (4-3-3)

Jose Manuel Pinto; Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, Javier Mascherano, Jordi Alba; Sergio Busquets, Xavi (capt), Cesc Fabregas; Neymar, Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta.

Atletico Madrid (4-4-2)

Thibaut Courtois; Juanfran, Diego Godin, Miranda, Filipe Luis; Koke, Gabi (capt), Tiago, Arda Turan; David Villa, Diego Costa.
