Attempted murder probe over badly injured England Euro 2016 fans: prosecutor

French prosecutors said Thursday they are probing the attempted murder of two English football supporters who were "seriously injured" in violence in Marseille before the England-Russia Euro 2016 match.

Investigators are studying security camera footage to try to identify the perpetrators, Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin told reporters after three Russian fans were jailed for their role in the violence.
