As of Wednesday morning, an additional four bodies have been recovered from the site of the collapsed condo in Surfside, Florida, and authorities have requested an additional search and rescue team.
According to WTVR.com, Kevin Guthrie of the Florida Division of Emergency Management said his agency asked for an additional team from the federal government.
Guthrie said this would allow crews that have been working non-stop for days to rotate out and be on hand if severe weather hits the area in the coming days.
The National Hurricane Center is monitoring two disturbances over the tropical Atlantic, including one that is expected to bring rain to the region starting late Wednesday afternoon. The second system is right behind it and there is a very good chance of it becoming a tropical storm over the next five days.
Disturbances 1 and 2 — the temporary names given to the storms by the NHC – are currently churning out in the Atlantic Ocean. The NHC says there is a 60 percent chance that Disturbance 1 forms into a tropical cyclone in the next two days.

Disturbance 2 should reach the Virgin Islands late Wednesday afternoon, but has a low chance of formation over the next 48 hours, but could bring up to 2 inches of rain locally, forecasters said.
Of more consern is Disturbance 1. This system is located about midway between the west coast of Africa and the Windward Islands. As of early Wednesday, there was a 70 percent chance of development into a tropical cyclone over the next two to five days.
Disturbance 1 is moving to the west-northwest at about 20 mph, according to the NHC.
Satellite photos indicate that Disturbance 1 — designated Invest 97-L — is gradually becoming better organized, with some hints of banding trying to develop and a slight increase in the deep thunderstorm coverage, the forecasters said.
