The engine is actually two V-8 engines combined to create a W-16 engine complemented by four turbochargers, seven-speed, dual-clutch, semi-automatic sequential transmission, front and rear double-wishbone suspension, and four-wheel carbon-ceramic disc brakes with rear airbrake.

In order to contain its incredible power the car is fitted with 10 radiators, three used to cool the engine, two to regulate the car’s air-conditioning system, and one each for cooling off the transmission oil, engine oil, differential oil, hydraulic oil used by the spoiler, and the air-to-liquid intercooler cooling system.

The car has run up a mere 764 miles on the clock, and as a result through a Certified program, Bugatti has offered a unique pre-owned warranty with the car – two-year warranty and two additional years of service free of charge.

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 “001” estimated auction price is between $1,800,000 and $2,400,000, and for such a significant a piece of automotive history, even at that price, it seems a very attractive investment opportunity.
