Showcase: Olympus Stylus 410

The All-Weather Wonder

TORONTO, Digital Journal — Suited for photo enthusiasts who require stellar image quality and performance, the Olympus Stylus 410 is a 4.0-megapixel digital camera designed to turn heads.

Coated in a splash-proof metal body, this camera weighs only 5.6 ounces and packs a potent punch: 3x optical/4x digital/12x total seamless zoom lets you frame images at ideal sizes, while a processor enables faster camera response time and less shutter delay.

The Virtual Dial features shooting modes such as Self-Portrait, Landscape, Night Scene and also a movie-making mode using QuickTime, with above-average audio quality for a camera.

Images are recorded and stored using the xD Picture Card, available in capacities up to 512MB. The Olympus Stylus 410 retails for $499 (CDN).

This camera is an evolved form of its predecessor, the Olympus Stylus film camera. The original film camera, launched in March 1991, has sold more than 23 million units worldwide.
