Cupertino, CA (DJC) – 150,000 of you who downloaded iMovie during its first
week of availability enjoy making Desktop Movies on a PowerBook and Power
Mac computers. But according to Apple Computer, Inc., there are a few of you
out there who are still thinking: “Can it really be that simple?”
To give such doubting Thomases an opportunity to see for themselves how easy
it can be to make a Desktop Movie using iMovie, participating Apple
resellers will be hosting iMovie Demo Days, beginning on Saturday, May 20.
Visit one of the select locations, and you’ll have the opportunity to take
iMovie out for a spin. Using digital footage we’ve already captured for you
or some you shoot on the spot, you’ll be able to select the clips you’d like
to use, edit them, determine the order they’ll appear in, and choose the
transitional effects to use between them. Once you have all the scenes laid
out, you’ll also see how easy it is to add music, sound effects, and titles.
