SYDNEY – Every athlete who competes in the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games will inspire the world in ways that loyal fans from Argentina to Zambia can follow on the Internet at www.olympics.com.
IBM designed, developed and hosts the official Web site in conjunction with the Sydney Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games. IBM is the Worldwide Information Technology Partner and Official Provider of Internet Technologies for the Games.
IBM is also providing e-commerce and hosting solutions for NBCOlympics.com and the Web site’s U.S. Olympic Store. The Web site is part of NBC’s strategy to deliver broad coverage of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games across its television network, cable channels CNBC and MSNBC, and via the Internet.
