leader in webcasting premier events, has announced its 5th annual New Year’s
webcast http://www.earthcam.com/newyears/2000-2001/ from Times Square and
around the world.
EarthCam, the Official Webcaster of New Year’s in Times Square, as
designated by the Times Square Business Improvement District, will feature
extensive coverage from its glass-enclosed Skybox Studios in the heart of
Times Square.
Streaming video, audio and chat will capture all of the
excitement and pageantry of this exciting event. EarthCam will provide its
viewers with the ability to watch from multiple vantage points by offering
seven additional webcam in and around Times Square. And, for the first time,
anyone with a personal PC camera will be able to contribute to the fun by
broadcasting their very own New Year’s Eve party directly into EarthCam’s
video chat section of the site.

200 million page views, more than 50 million unique visitors, and served over
