Mesh conference offers scholarship program for start-ups

Ambitious entrepreneurs can win themselves advice, networking possibilities and two days of learning about digital media thanks to mesh‘s conference scholarship: A Hosted Startup Program, available to applicants who are looking to expand their connections.

If selected for the hosted start-up program, participants will be required to meet with partners such as Microsoft BizSpark, Ernst & Young and ME Consulting involved in this program, a press release states. By accepting the invitation, entrepreneurs will be agreeing to a time commitment of three appointments over two days with participating sponsors/suppliers (or a total dedicated time commitment of 45 minutes).

The winners also receive a two-day pass to the mesh conference, now in its seventh year, on May 23 and 24.

“We started mesh because we wanted to create a space for everyone to come together. We realize that we would not be this without so many supporters,” says Mark Evans, mesh co-founder. “This is our chance to give back to the community that has generously supported us and mesh.”

Applicants need to throw their hat in the ring by May 9. Applicants must be a start-up entrepreneur or an employee of a start-up. The press releases writes, “The application will consist of detailed questions related to the applicant and their startup. Applicants will be selected based on their responses.”
