Privacy is essential in communications technology, but most infrastructure prioritizes mass messaging and advertising. LoopMessage, a macOS app and global application programming interface (API) provider founded by Andrii Konovalskyi, aims to secure maximum privacy in human-to-human communication. Today, LoopMessage is providing a trust layer in the communication infrastructure.

Konovalskyi’s background in engineering

With over a decade of experience in mobile engineering and product development, Konovalskyi has contributed to some of Eastern Europe’s most recognized tech products. He has been an engineer at Monobank.ua, Ukraine’s first mobile-only bank; SprinkleBit, a United States social investing network; and Apteka24.ua, one of the first e-commerce pharmacy apps in the region.

The origins of LoopMessage

While consulting for Apteka24.ua and other online pharmacy initiatives, Konovalskyi saw that the industry had a significant issue with SMS fraud. Since the business relied only on SMS code authorization, competitors could generate thousands of fake authorization requests to overwhelm the systems. Konovalskyi realized that implementing code delivery via iMessage could help solve the problem.

“I started working on the first MVP (minimum viable product) for sending iMessages from the cloud,” Konovalskyi shared. “A couple of weeks later, the MVP was ready, and a few months later, I began developing it as a commercial product and releasing it publicly to all clients.”

LoopMessage resulted from Konovalskyi’s MVP, a public messaging API in a technically challenging and privacy-sensitive space. The tool’s development requires constant innovation, compliance awareness, and precision, but Konovalskyi quickly built a team capable of supporting businesses. LoopMessage has operated out of Austin, Texas, for the past three years.

“I’ve transitioned from engineer to entrepreneur as the founder of LoopMessage.com, a company that builds APIs for iMessage-based communication and iPhone number verification,” Konovalskyi stated. “My work focuses on secure, privacy-centric messaging and helping businesses use Apple’s closed ecosystem for verified, two-way communication.”

From MacOS app to global API provider

Though LoopMessage started as a macOS app for bulk personalized messaging, the platform has since become a global API provider. With iMessage and FaceTime verification systems, LoopMessage reduces fake contacts and one-time password (OTP) costs. Now, thousands of B2B customers and more than ten startups have raised funding after building MVPs with LoopMessage APIs, and the company delivers millions of messages monthly.

“Most communication technology focuses on mass messaging or advertising,” Konovalskyi explained. “I focus on credibility and trust in digital interactions. What sets me apart is my ability to bridge deep technical knowledge of Apple’s ecosystem with a business mindset; building infrastructure that didn’t exist before.”

Ambition for the future of verified communication

LoopMessage aims to build a legacy of privacy, trust, and thought leadership. Konovalskyi envisions this momentum in verification systems as the next significant movement after “growth hacking,” focusing on cost reductions and efficiency in SMS communication. Already, LoopMessage is building toward an automated solution focused on ensuring trust in sectors like fintech, healthcare, and customer engagement.
