Live video: Computer buying advice from Chris Hogg, Amber Mac

Let’s be honest — buying a computer isn’t easy. There is so much to choose from, too much confusion, and it’s all being thrown at us at a time when we have no patience: the holidays.

To assist you in your holiday shopping adventures, Intel Canada hosted an online live discussion and we ran it here for you to follow along. Intel invited DigitalJournal.com’s Chris Hogg and CP24 Webnation host Amber “Mac” to offer computer-buying advice to you.

There is an embedded chat window below the video where people submitted questions live, and they also contributed to the discussion and asked questions live during the broadcast via Facebook or Twitter.

Beginning live at 12 p.m. noon (Eastern) today, the live discussion lasted one hour. Cassey Tan of Intel Canada hosted the webcast, which streamed live below.

You can now check out what was discussed by clicking the PLAY button below and clicking on the first link.

The panelists explained various aspects of PC life, what type of computer user is better suited for a Mac and the differences between netbooks and notebooks.
