SAN FRANCISCO — Streaming Media West 2000 kicks off on Tuesday, December 12 at 9am with the opening Keynote by Steve Ballmer, President & CEO, Microsoft Corp., in the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, CA.
The three day Convention hosts over 275 exhibiting companies, 5 visionary
keynotes, over 240 industry experts speaking on 50+ conference panels, and
over 15,000 attendees. Streaming Media West 2000 is the most comprehensive

Streaming Media West 2000 is an all-inclusive three-day event featuring many new elements ranging from the Streaming Media Theater to various company product seminars. Here is a brief description of what you can expect to see at the San Jose Convention Center this December.
- The Streaming Media Theater sponsored by RealNetworks — Attendees will
be able to view the latest in digital content on the big screen while
relaxing in our custom built theater. The Streaming Media Theater will
be located in the center of the Exhibition floor.
- Windows Media Technical Summit — content producers, web professionals
and product developers come together to learn how to create and deliver
compelling Windows Media-based content.
- Company Product Seminars — free to all Conference attendees, the
company seminars focus on how to use and profit from the most advanced
streaming tools available. Companies hosting seminars include: Intel,
Adobe, and RealNetworks.
Registration for the Conference, including the Keynote addresses, is
limited and expected to sell-out. For those interested in visiting the
Exhibition floor, online pre-registration is free and unlimited on or before
Saturday, December 9th. For those who do not pre-register, on-site
registration for the Exhibition will be available for $40.
