DJ Inside: The Brother Laser Multi-Function Center 8820DTN

BROTHER MFC 8820DTN – ALL YOU NEED FOR QUALITY LASER PRINTING

Brother is already world-famous for offering high-quality office products, so it’s no surprise that they keep upping the bar. In the latter part of 2003, Brother launched a new line of multi-function centres with the 8820DTN as the flagship model. The five-in-one multi-function centre acts as a plain paper fax machine, black-and-white laser printer, digital copier, colour scanner and PC fax. Designed with an 8.5 by 14-inch flatbed scanning area — which can accommodate single sheets or bound documents up to legal size — the 8820DTN can print up to 17 pages per minute and has lots of memory, expandable up to 160 MB. The 8820DTN comes with a 250-sheet standard paper tray, duplex (two-sided) printing, a 50-sheet multi-purpose tray and an additional 250-sheet lower tray, bringing the grand total to 550 ready-to-print sheets of paper. And to top it all off, the 8820DTN also has built-in network capabilities, plus USB 2.0 and parallel interfaces, making it everything you need for anything printable.

“We are helping everyone, from professionals to individual workgroups within large corporations, in becoming more efficient.” — Martin Featherston, VP Sales, Product and Marketing, Brother International Corp. (Canada) Ltd.
