Job seekers with disabilities often face barriers that go beyond qualifications, from inaccessible application processes to unconscious bias in screening. Enabled Talent developed a platform to help change that. Using artificial intelligence, the company connects candidates to inclusive employers by matching skills, experience, and accessibility needs.
The platform is designed to improve access and fairness in the hiring process. It analyzes resumes and recommends roles that align with a candidate’s background and support requirements. At the same time, it provides employers with tools to reduce bias and improve how they engage with underrepresented talent.
To build the system, Enabled Talent brought together experts in inclusive hiring, HR technology, and accessibility. They also worked directly with job seekers and employers to ensure the platform reflected the real needs and expectations of both groups. The result is a system that supports inclusion by design, rather than as an afterthought.
One of the biggest insights from the project was that inclusive tools must be shaped by the people who will use them. By involving individuals with disabilities throughout the process, the team created a more effective and trusted platform that scales across industries.
For Enabled Talent, the project helped define the company’s purpose. It led to new partnerships, stronger community ties, and a deeper commitment to accessibility in all aspects of their work.
The platform has already helped more than 120 job seekers with disabilities find meaningful employment. Employers using it have saved over $500,000 in recruitment costs and more than 300 hours in manual screening and hiring. In addition to these outcomes, the system has improved workplace diversity and created a more accessible candidate experience.
As demand grows for equitable hiring practices, Enabled Talent’s platform offers a model for how technology can be used to close gaps and build stronger, more inclusive teams.
