Video replay shows what looks to be Suarez sinking his teeth into Chiellini’s shoulder while they jostle for position near the Italian net. At the time, the match was scoreless.
Chiellini dropped to the floor and was upset with Suarez as he pulled the shoulder of his jersey down and tried to show the referee what he deemed to be bite marks.
A tweet by ITVFootball shows the bite mark in question:

This isn’t the first time Suarez has been accused of biting his opponents. The star striker was banned for 10 Premier League games at the end of the 2012-13 season for biting Branislav Ivanovic, after being banned for biting a player in Holland when playing for Ajax and being dubbed “the cannibal.”
Uruguay won the match 1-0 and now move on to the round of 16 beginning next week. Italy is now out of the World Cup.
