The video of the powerful dunk has already been uploaded to YouTube.
In the beginning of the second quarter, the Raptors ran a few screens to free up a pass to DeRozan. When the high-scoring guard cut into the lane, driving past Andre Miller, he leaped to dunk right on top of Mozgov, who attempted to block the slam.
After DeRozan’s dunk, the video shows the Raptors bench lighting up with excitement, with point guard Kyle Lowry jumping from his lying position.
The Raps were leading 28-21 before DeRozan “posterized” Mozgov.
DeRozan won’t be representing Toronto at the Slam Dunk Competition during NBA All-Star weekend on Saturday; his teammate Terrence Ross will be dunking against competitors Gerald Green, James White, Kenneth Faried, Jeremy Evans and Eric Bledsoe.
