After the Carolina Panthers beat the Seahawks, knocking them out of the playoffs this past Sunday, Carolina quarterback Cam Newton took his victory lap around the field, high-fiving fans in celebration. While he was making his round, he came across a Seahawks fan holding a flag, pulled in down and tossed it aside.
This is not the first flag Newton has tossed this season. He tore down a Green Bay Packer fan’s banner back in November, and that fan was just as upset.
“I was just shocked, shocked,” he said. “It went from a fun event to I was disgusted”
And Sarah, a Seattle Seahawks fan, is just as upset as the Packers fan was, even though it was not her flag that was torn down Sunday. Sarah is not happy with his “classless” attitude, which she feels not only disrespects the team, but the fans that support the team.
Sarah ends her note to “Mr. Classless Cam Newton” by saying “good luck and may God teach you what real winning looks like.”

SB Nation reports “While everyone gets in a tizzy over it, please note that someone handed this to him. It’s a far cry from the brew-ha-ha when Newton tore down a Packers banner earlier this year. Also important to note: Newton took time before AND after the game to meet with Russell Wilson and congratulate him on a great season.”
