Rocker’s daughter makes Top 16 in Sports Illustrated model search

Raine Michael’s hopes are to land a spot in the final top six for inclusion in Sports Illustrated’s annual swimsuit issue, in an effort to become a swimsuit model for the popular U.S. sports magazine, Sports Illustrated.

This all started with an open casting call in search of the first member of the latest rookie class. Raine wound up being chosen out of 7,500 women who made submissions via social media (through Instagram), as well as 3,000 women who showed up in person to walk the SI Swimsuit x Paraiso Runway Show this past July 15 in Miami, Florida, which was part of Miami Swim Week.

The Poison frontman’s daughter ultimately was chosen as one of the final 16 to be a part of the show, where she made her debut as a model. She shared that she was interviewed by Fox News, and in her video clip, she expressed her love for the Sports Illustrated brand, and noted that she wants to bring “beauty standards” to the publication. She is grateful for the opportunity and is excited for what the future holds. In the meantime, while all this has been going on, Raine finished her first week at Belmont University.
