Australian athlete Kyle Chalmers is one of the greatest freestylers in the history of contemporary swimming. Aside from his endeavors and accomplishments inside the pool, the 23-year-old swimming superstar is passionate about collecting reptiles.
In his interview with Digital Journal this past August, Chalmers shared with this journalist that he has an extensive reptile collection (consisting of a pet crocodile and pythons, and lots of different lizards), and that he enjoys playing video games, doing photography, and spending time with friends and family.
In the digital series “Head Above Water” on Amazon Prime Video, Chalmers explains what his reptiles mean to him. This hobby is Chalmers’ secret from switching off from the aquatic world.
Episode 3 of “Fuel My Social” also does a great job showcasing Chalmers’ love for reptiles, and it may be seen below.
In the meantime, Chalmers has been competing for International Swimming League (ISL) Season 3 for the London Roar swimming team, for which he also serves as a co-captain. Rob Woodhouse is the team’s General Manager.

As Digital Journal reported, Chalmers performed really well in his ISL races.
