Long-running Floyd Mayweather-Ronda Rousey feud continues

Rousey, who sided with Mayeather’s foe Manny Pacquiao when they fought last May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, found an answer to Mayweather’s challenge that as soon a she makes $300 million a night, she can call him.

“[Floyd] said ‘You make $300 million a night, then you can give me a call’ … and I actually did the math and given the numbers of my last fight, I’m actually the highest paid UFC fighter and I’m a woman,” she said.

“I think I actually make 2-3 times more than he does per second … so when he learns to read and write, he can text me,” she added.

Rousey has been critical of Mayweather’s history of domestic violence against women. In the last ESPY awards night, Rousey bagged the “Best Fighter Award” beating Mayweather, who was expected to get a favorable ruling from the judges.

After receiving the award, Rousey said she wondered how Mayweather felt about being “beaten by a woman for once,” in reference to Mayweather’s history of domestic violence against women. Read more:
