How to watch the Super Bowl online

Due to Fox’s broadcast of the Super Bowl, they are also pushing their online efforts to give gridiron lovers a chance to watch the game.

The company will offer a free live stream to all users, as CNET writes. Content on FoxSportsGo.com can be accessed free, regardless of your cable provider, starting on February 2 at 12 a.m, and lasting until 3 a.m. ET on February 3. The app is available for desktops or mobile devices.

Also, Verizon customers with an iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Phone, or Android device can download the NFL Mobile app. The free version displays basic scores and highlights, but with a $5 subscription you can get check out the Super Bowl as well.

It’s unclear if non-American fans have the same access to the Super Bowl via this option.

Last year, Super Bowl 47 drew the third-highest rating in television history with an estimated 108.4 million people watching on TV.
