Bobby Finke earns three 2021 Golden Goggle nominations

Two-time Olympic gold medalist swimmer Bobby Finke has a reason to be proud. He earned three 2021 Golden Goggle nominations, presented by USA Swimming. Digital Journal has the scoop.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist swimmer Bobby Finke has a reason to be proud. He earned three 2021 Golden Goggle nominations, presented by USA Swimming. Digital Journal has the scoop.

The 2021 Golden Goggles GALA ceremony will take place on December 7 in Miami, Florida.

A proud Florida Gator, Finke is up for “Breakout Performer of the Year,” where he is nominated alongside Katie Grimes, Lydia Jacoby, and Emma Weyant.

Finke’s gold medal-winning 800 meter freestyle race is nominated for “Male Race of the Year,” where his time (7:41.87) was a new national record, and he is vying for the coveted “Male Athlete of the Year,” where he is nominated alongside Caeleb Dressel, Ryan Murphy, and Chase Kalisz. 

His coach, Anthony Nesty, is up for “Coach of the Year.”
