In the first round, Joshua was told to take his time. He kept his distance against Molina and kept his guard up and it took about two minutes before Molina threw a punch, which looped around the champion’s hip. Joshua countered with a few blows.
Molina edged forward in the second round, but he wasn’t taking any major chances. Earlier in the week, Molina said he was going to try to knock Joshua out with one punch, but he didn’t do much in this round. Joshua said he was going to make Molina look like a novice.
In the third round, Joshua landed some massive blows and took Molina down. He struggled to get up, but he did beat the countdown. However, Joshua pounced on him and backed Molina into the ropes. The fight was stopped by the referee, allowing Joshua to remain the champion and undefeated.

This is Joshua’s 18th consecutive win. He is now expected to face Wladmir Klitschko sometime next year. If he defeats Klitschko, then he will make history by unifying the WBA and IBF titles. Klitschko is 40-years-old, while Joshua is 27, but Klitschko is no amateur and has over 60 career wins. The last time he fought was against Tyson Fury in November 2015, but he lost that bout.
