Dallas Cowboys Rumors: Laquon Treadwell best option in NFL Draft?

Dez Bryant is clearly the best weapon for whoever is playing quarterback for the team, but without their star, Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley showed they lacked the skill to take over a game when needed. The team still used the run as their best option for moving the chains, but with Romo expected back in 2016 and Bryant ready for a great season, finding another weapon on the outside is imperative.

Not many experts are predicting a wide receiver being taken with the franchises first round pick in June, but a closer look at the teams that made the playoffs last year and those that just missed, show that depth is a must.

Cover 32 has suggested that using the fourth overall pick on Laquon Treadwell of Ole’ Miss. is possibly the best thing the front office can do for a team that has failed to play at expectations set on them by experts and fans.

The youngster is the top ranked prospect at his position for the 2016 NFL Draft and the type of player that would make a great number two wide out. His skill set is top-notch and the fact he won’t see much double coverage with Bryant on the opposite side of the field, would only help an offense that was too one dimensional last season.

Other football experts believe other areas should take presidents, using later rounds to address their need. SB Nation has the team waiting until the sixth round and taking Tennessee product Marquez North. At 6’4″ he is a massive target and could become a valuable asset in the red zone, but with the window of opportunity closing on this franchise, finding a player that can help now seems a more logical choice.
