2016 NFL Mock Draft: Baltimore Ravens 3 round projections

All the injuries and off-field incidents, winning five games and the squad not quitting in the final week of the season against Cincinnati shows the fans and the front office that this franchise is close to challenging for a spot in the NFL Playoffs, but only if they can add the right mix of rookies and free agent talent this off season.

CBS Sports has the front office looking to upgrade the offensive line in the first round. Notre Dame tackle Ronnie Stanley is projected as the team’s top pick and with Eugene Monroe struggling to stay healthy, adding depth on the line will only help Flacco and company next season.

The second round has several options for the Ravens. Wide receiver Steve Smith was set to retire, but it now appears the veteran will try to return after a torn Achilles. Despite his possible turnaround, more depth is needed and Walter Football suggests TCU youngster Josh Doctson is just the type of wide out that could add some much-needed speed and explosiveness to the position.

Defense also needs some help as the secondary struggled to stop opposing wide receivers. The third round could have the front office looking for a cover corner. Clemson youngster Mackensie Alexander or Will Redmond of Mississippi State are both solid options at this stage of the NFL Draft.

Baltimore will be a team to watch in 2016 as the team will get back its best players on offense and the schedule on the soft side with just four games against playoff teams from this season set to face the Ravens.
