Watch where you drive in Leirosen, Norway. A recently uploaded video shows a truck rig being towed up a hill, inching along an icy road. The rig got a car-width too close to the roadside barrier and then suddenly plunged down the mountainside, taking the tow truck with it.
A driver inside the rig couldn’t escape when the vehicle took a tumble, but he survived with serious fractures. The end of the video shows the driver of the tow truck jumping out of his truck just as his own vehicle falls off the cliff edge too.
The videographers speak in Norwegian and a few commenters on sites such as BoingBoing point out they hear the words “What the hell just happened?” and “What the hell did he do here/there?”
The YouTube video of the incident has so far attracted more than 240,000 views within 24 hours.
