• Iran protests continue into 2nd day, 10 protesters killed by Stephanie Dearing: Iran continues to make headline, thanks to the protests flaring on its streets. “Iranian officials are now confirming at least five deaths after initially denying that protesters had been shot during the first day of demonstration and clashes between police and protesters.” Keep an eye on this story, and realize how integral citizen media has become in telling the story.
• Tom Ridge: Obama ‘Spot on’ About Recent Terrorist Threat by Carol Forsloff: Wondering what ex-White House officials think about Obama’s assessment of terrorist threats? • Mayweather Triggered a More Furious and Focused Pacquiao by Edwin Ladaga: Boxing news is now dominated by the controversy over Floyd Mayweather Jr. asking Manny Pacquiao to take a blood test before the March 13 fight. According to Edwin Ladaga, Pac-man will be even more aggressive and furious (even though Pacman is stalling things by filing a lawsuit). This out-of-ring battle will continue to intensify, and rest assured our sports writers will be on top of every move.
