The Holy Bible rewritten in emojis is released online

Calling Millennials

It is called the Bible Emoji: Scripture 4 Millennials and as the title suggests, the creator (of the emoji bible, not the world) wrote it to attract millennials to Christianity. It’s those 18-to-34-year-olds leading the way away from Christianity, which is experiencing a slow decline in numbers.

“[Emoji are] language-agnostic, they allow you to convey an idea to anyone, regardless of what language they speak,” the creator of the emoji bible said. “A major goal of this whole process was to take a book that I think is very non-approachable to lay readers and try to make it more approachable by removing a lot of its density.”

The emoji bible is available on iTunes for $3 99.

Emoji maker

The creator (again, of the emoji bible, not the world) asked not to be named because there has been negative comments, even written abuse, about her or his creation, from Christians and non-Christians alike. So he or she is staying in the background, hoping the book tells the story in a way that young adults can relate to.

The emoji bible has all 66 books rewritten and is 3,282 pages long, surely a record length for an emoji book. If you want to purchase an online version, the only version in existence, you can do so at iTunes for just $2.99.

Oh and if you read all of those pages, emoji after emoji after emoji, you will have earned your way into heaven. Where you will meet the creator (not of the emoji bible, but of the world).
