Samsung releases teaser Super Bowl ad with Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd

This teaser spot is whetting appetite for the full, two-minute spot, from Samsung agency 72andSunny and directed by Iron Man’s Jon Favreau, which will be released later this week.

Rudd and Rogen try to offer Odenkirk ideas for a Super Bowl ad, but Odenkirk tells them to refrain for using the copyright terms for, say, Super Bowl and the 49ers.

Instead, Rogen suggests the San Francisco 50-minus-one-ers and Rudd wonders if the Baltimore Black Birds is a better workaround.

Rudd and Rogen worked together in Knocked Up.

Lately, Super Bowl ads have been leaking online, including this Volkswagen spot raising hackles over the Jamaican accents used by the white actors.

The Super Bowl, between San Fran and Baltimore, will air on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET.
