Mashable reports one of Google’s apparently early April Fool’s Day pranks is located on Google Maps.
At the bottom left corner of the Google Maps, beside the Google Earth button, users can find a square with a classic Pac-Man game. Clicking on that will turn the streets into a full Pac-Man experience complete with ghosts, dots, fruit and the sentient circle himself.
Any section of streets can be used to play, but Google is offering hints on the best places in the world to try out Pac-Man. Those using Google Maps on mobile will only be able to play in these special locations.
Last year, Google’s April Fool’s prank involved sending users on a quest to capture the 151 original Pokemon.
This also isn’t the first time Pac-Man has appeared on Google. In 2010, Google’s doodle was an interactive Pac-Man game that enthralled the world. But it wasn’t without a cost to productivity worldwide — the Telegraph reports the game ate up 4,819,352 hours of employee time, ultimately costing the world’s economy about $120,483,800.
April Fool’s Day also came early for Samsung, who jokingly announced the Galaxy BLADE Edge, which turns the Samsung Galaxy S6 into a smart chef’s knife.
