nextMedia Liveblog: Stop advertising and start socializing (Includes first-hand account)

A consumer demanding more for less, leveraging their social network to make decisions, a retail infrastructure consolidating its power base….what’s a company to do in the face of all this change? At the annual nextMedia conference in Toronto, Tony Chapman of Capital C will explain how organizations and their agencies need to reorganize to adapt to a faster, better and more efficient model.

He will also touch upon social media — is it a flavour of the month? — and the rise of mobility communications as a means to market effectively.

Chapman is the founder and CEO of Capital C, a creative and technology company servicing blue chip clients throughout the world. His company is best known for creating the Bridezilla social media campaign, which became a viral hit.

Digital Journal will be liveblogging Chapman’s keynote presentation, so join the action by clicking on the widget below. You don’t have to be a member of Digitaljournal.com to participate. Digital Journal staff will be covering Chapman’s statements, and offer readers images and polls as well.

It will begin at 1:45 p.m. ET and last for 30 minutes.

Also be sure to check out Twitter feed for constant updates throughout the day.
