Guardian releases map showing verified attacks in Gaza and Israel

The UK news outlet has decided to catalog the verified reports of strikes against Gaza and Israel, in light of possible misinformation cropping up over reported incidents.

The Guardian has compiled the verified incidents via their own reporting and outside accounts. The outlet says it verified the reports on the map, each displayed with a red dot. Clicking on a dot will bring up an explanation of what occurred, such as “Rocket hits a 10-story residential building in the center of Ashdod.”

The British newspaper invites readers to submit an event via a submission form or email, Mashable notes. The map will be constantly updated as new information pours in.

Interested readers can also see the data outlined on a Google Fusions table, without the map overlay.
