Drake surpasses 50 billion streams in digital platforms

As of August 8, 2018, Drake has made music history after he became the first recording artist to cross 50 billion streams on all streaming platforms worldwide.

Drake’s latest full-length studio album, Scorpion, has successfully helped him achieve this digital milestone. In addition to his streaming record, the album sits at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 all-genre charts for its fifth consecutive week; moreover, his smash single “In My Feelings” has spent its fourth consecutive week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts. As a result, Drake has ruled the Billboard Hot 100 charts for 23 weeks this year.

His single “In My Feelings” also reached No. 1 at urban and rhythm radio this week, thus proving that it is a true force to be reckoned with.

Scorpion by Drake is available on iTunes and on Spotify.
