DigitalJournal.com’s Chris Hogg and David Silverberg will be guests on the online radio show America Talks on Nov. 14 at 6pm ET. Citizen Journalists Sherri Reese and David Zublick will lead the discussion about DigitalJournal.com and new media.
Digital Journal — If you’ve ever been curious on how DigitalJournal.com began and what has caused it to grow into a well-known news network, today is your day to find out.
Beginning at 6pm ET, Digital Journal’s Chris Hogg and David Silverberg will speak about DigitalJournal.com on the online radio show America Talks. It will air on the Heading Right and America Talks stations simultaneously, powered by Blogtalkradio. You can listen live at 6 p.m. ET here.
The show is hosted by Sherri Reese and David Zublick, both Citizen Journalists on DigitalJournal.com. They invited DigitalJournal.com to discuss the origin of the news network, how it has progressed through the years, its journalistic strategies and more.
Silverberg and Hogg will talk about the new media industry as well, pointing to trends that reflect DigitalJournal.com’s own trajectory.
Reese is a talk show host, with experience in both terrestrial radio and Internet broadcasting. She also serves on the advisory board for Madison Forum, a non-profit civic group dedicated to good government. Always a busy woman, she has created several workshops on topics such as Personal Victory and the 45 Communist Goals.
Zublick has interviewed newsmakers and cultural figures for several years. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and lives in Detroit.
The broadcast will air live, with callers invited to ask Silverberg and Hogg questions about DigitalJournal.com or new media. The number to call is 646-478-4587.
After the broadcast, the segment will be available as a podcast on both Blogtalkradio stations. Also, it will be thrown into a replay rotation on the Heading Right station, playing often during the upcoming weekend.
