Attention all Digital Journalists, citizen journalists, bloggers and anyone interested in media: We’re hosting a live conversation today about news and you’re invited to take part.

On Monday Nov. 14 at noon (Eastern time), you can participate in Digital Journal’s one-hour liveblog focusing on several important topics: How to be balanced in reporting and getting information from multiple perspectives; how to source original information and report original stories; the benefits and best-practice tips of using social media to promote your content; and how to take advantage of Digital Journal’s Assignments tool.

We’ll conclude with an open Q&A where you can ask anything about creating content and contributing to Digital Journal.

The liveblog below will go live at noon ET on Nov. 14, so you just need to scroll to the liveblog widget below and enter a name and take part right away. After the event, a transcript will be viewable to anyone.

As always, we anticipate a thought-provoking discussion and we look forward to hearing what you have to say in this News Reporting 101 liveblog.
