We have 150 runners taking on the various Ultramarathon distances of 26.3, 50K, 50 miles, 100K, and 100 miles. An ultramarathon is anything over the marathon distance of 26.2 miles.

Vero X Events is proud to bring the Vero Beach Octopus Ultra to Vero Beach for the first time. The Vero Beach Octopus Ultra is supporting OctoNation which inspires the wonder of the Ocean by educating the world about Octopuses. We are also supporting the Buggy Bunch which will provide School Supplies for local kids.

The Octopus Ultra is a race born out of 2020 and the year of the canceled races. Like most fine Ultras, the Octopus originated in the RD’s garage…the summer of 2020 in South Florida. After running out and back 8 times, for 100 miles (and 33 hours), the first Octopus Ultra was in the books…0 finishers in the 32-hour limit, but 2 finishers overall. The idea behind the Octopus race is to have a centralized location, a base station, with 8 Arms out and back.

Vero X Events, LLC is an events company down in beautiful Vero Beach Florida that specializes in X-traordinary events.
