The Google Economic Impact Report, which explores Google’s impact on businesses, highlighted The Baby Cubby, a baby boutique based in American Fork, Utah, as one of six Utah companies that have seen marked benefits and growth from Google products and services. Since 2019, The Baby Cubby’s in-store business has increased 40 percent, and online sales (www.babycubby.com) have jumped 300 percent. Founders Cameron and Jaqueline Muir created The Baby Cubby not only as a store with quality products for babies and children, but as a place for parents and families to find resources and community in their parenting journey. The company has produced over 500 YouTube videos showing demonstrations on products like strollers and car seats, as well as product reviews and how-to videos–reaching thousands of viewers and potential customers.
“Google has played a large part in our marketing from the start, helping parents discover our brand and helping our business grow,” says CEO and founder, Cameron Muir.
The Baby Cubby stands out as a fantastic example of the rapid economic growth experienced in the state in recent years, thanks to tools like Google Analytics and Google Ads. “We want to help parents find us,” Cameron says, “and when they do, we want them to feel at home.”
