WASHINGTON, DC, August 03, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment announced today that Harald (“Harry”) Langer has joined its staff as Director of Research.
The Director of Research leads research initiatives including the biennial publication of the Report on US Sustainable and Impact Investing Trends, is the lead staff member in producing other external materials and is one of the organization’s key spokespeople. The US SIF Foundation released the 13th edition of its Trends Report on Nov. 16, 2020. The 14th edition will be released in the fall of 2022.

Harry comes to US SIF with 14 years of experience in consultative research and content creation for thought leadership campaigns. His clients have included multinational corporations, financial institutions, government agencies as well as non-profit organizations, having worked at The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and as an external consultant for media groups such as the Financial Times and Newsweek among others. He is the founder of Weltgeist, a boutique advisory firm that helps organizations across Europe and the United States achieve positive impact.
Throughout his career, he has covered a wide array of topics related to sustainable finance, including climate change, education, health, peace, illicit trade and labor conditions. Harry holds an MA in international economics and international affairs from Johns Hopkins University, SAIS, and an MBA from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
